Hamburg Central Station Concourse

I arrived in Hanoi in 2008 and plan to be here for couple of more years.

I still aim to establish collaborative projects aimed at documenting the impacts, improvements and social change brought about by the implementation of NGO-based aid & development programs, and have done a small amount of this kind of work. mostly, though I've done Magazine support and some portraiture at my studio.

I was educated in Australia, partly in Melbourne and partly in rural Victoria. My specialisation was in Applied Science: focusing on Laboratory Methods and Analysis.

I spent several years in Milk Harvesting Research as a technician and service/production manager, specializing in manufacturing milk quality standards, and development of low cost, milk testing/sampling equipment.

I branched into adult education and workplace training, focusing on the development of training programs and curriculum, and spent 8 years in China, working as an EFL Instructor, Director of Studies, Teacher Trainer, and Training Consultant, before migrating to Commercial Photography.

Presently I have a studio and equipment sufficient for small-moderate scale product/catalog work and portraiture. I am able to shoot on location, assist other photographers with their projects or make my studio available for a modest fee. I also, occasionally, mentor people in basic photographic technique and camera skills.

If you have any questions about photography, are looking for a photographer for events, documentation, commercial projects, or would just like to be, "in the spotlight for a day," drop me a line, I always happy to chat about your next great project.
