yum yum yum!
It's goood.
Possible improvements:
The Hummus needs more Tahini and more garlic/lemon/spices and there was one weird dessert called Panacotta (it wants to be flan, but it's french) but the two visits there (and about 8 dishes I've sampled with friends) have me sold :-)

The upstairs area is a pretty cool hang, but the food's fairly average Viet Nam. I'm not a coffee drinker or a cafe-internet user, so maybe I'm not the target demographic for this place.
I tend to feel guilty about many people telling me how good a place is only to have to tell them I didn't really like it. Sorry guys, I wish it was better so I'd like it more!

I've been here a few times as a guest and as a patron AND as a performer with the Van Ho Ba. There's no kitty running around but there could be one later if you order your date the warm & luscious chocolate pudding.

Yum yum yum. Best Burgers in Ha Noi. These guys stay open later (even during the week). Most dishes are great, but items like spaghetti carbonara and some of the tartines (bread with stuff on top) are hit & miss.
---
The name means "Summer" in french, but with so many smokers it's sometimes more like "Summer in Ha Noi on Hai Ba Trung."
It will be interesting in the coming years to see if there will be any attitudinal change in Viet Nam toward smoking. In my native land, they say that having a smoking section in a restaurant is like having a peeing section in a swimming pool. Still Ete is very nice, and second-hand smoke is free. woot!

Good soup / bread.
Nice space. Decent mains (I tried Weinerschnitzel & Gulash). Priced like KOTO, but not much service.
I love their Kebab stands in the streets more than the actual restaurant.

I really dug this place the two times I went for fashion events. I even played some music there. As usual, I wish venues were larger in Ha Noi but Mosaique does fun (and cozy) things with its limited space.
Events are cool here.

Open-air seating = you like to play with 12 cockroaches while you eat. I'm intrigued how a young Vietnamese woman (among others) did not find the plethora (plethora is hyberbole, but 12 is about right) of cockroaches to be bothersome. I don't really find this to be disgusting. Rather, I find this to be an interesting concept within the culture here: that you can eat with all the bugs & rats and not be phased by them.
The Ice-cream was nice. I think it's Vinamilk, and Vinamilk has fun packaging and advertising so of course I like it!
