I'm not really a teacher-yet. Start my first teaching job next week. Feeling slightly apprehensive. Nerves making me over-ellipsise. Lot.
Anyway my question to all of you is this. I was told by a highly experienced teacher that there is one book which will "save your life every week for the first year you teach and then some". The title of the book is "Practical Techniques for Language Teaching" by Michael Lewis. I have searched around Hanoi for it but so far have come up blank. Does anyone on here have a copy I could borrow perchance? Or failing that maybe point me in the right direction as to where I might find one? You'll have my eternal gratitude and I'll return the favour by...uhh...hoovering your house or something? I don't know-whatever you think is appropriate. Thanks.
David.
Back home I'd probably just get one off ebay but I've heard the postal system here can be unreliable so I'd rather not risk it.
None.
When are they going to make a sci-fi movie this good again?
