I love their beer! Both the dark and light are tasty. The setting is also great, and the food is nice.
I would recommend going with at least 4 people if you want to really enjoy the food. Most dishes seem more suited towards sharing. (Of course, I'm sure that 2 people could find something suitable)
I really liked the roasted chicken (it was ga ta!)and also the eggplant and seafood.
Highly recommended!
On a side note, I invited a Vietnamese colleague to go with me and a friend. He was surprised that I even knew about Windmill. Thanks to everyone else who wrote the good reviews!

Don't go here! There are many better options...they don't seem to know what they are doing plus I've never had someone try to cheat me at a spa!
I went here the other night for a pedicure...choose the spa pedicure and was told it was $10.
The pedicure was awful...they did very little in addition to the regular pedicure other than torturing my feet! The girl doing the pedicure scrubbed the soft parts of my feet so hard that they hurt for hours afterwards. Then about 1 minute after the polish was applied she put my sandal back on, which of course messed it up! So she had to redo it which was frustrated especially given that my feet were starting to hurt at this point from the harsh scrubbing.
After I was finished the "man in charge" showed me on a calculator that I owed over 200,000 dong. Perhaps he thought I couldn't do simple multiplication or had somehow forgotten the quoted price...I know this is an old trick in Hanoi but I've never had it happen at a spa! After I called him on this, they charged the very high exchange rate of 17,800 VND/Dollar. This is even higher than the black market rate at that time!
Perhaps if he hadn't tried to overcharge me, I would have forgotten the pain. I basically felt awful for the rest of the night.
Once again: don't go here!!! There are several other options in Ha Noi for a similar price.

Hi everyone! Does anyone know of a bar that will be good to watch the Olympics at? What about a place that has CCTV5? [CCTV is the Chinese sports channel which will be showing the Olympics nonstop, the regular cable here only has CCTV9 & CCTV4]

I need to buy a flat cotton sheet just for 2 months. I don't care how hideous it is as long as it doesn't scratch me. Sounds like Big C or Metro are probably the best bet. But they are quite far from the center (I actually live in West Lake, but close to Truc Bach). Does anyone ever go to one of those places? (maybe I could tag along?) Also I've tried a few of the supermarkets in Truc Bach/West Lake with no luck. Thanks!
In response to the question: Can anyone recommend a place to buy luxurious quality, pure cotton bed sheets - that are vaguely reasonably priced? Also, pillows? Thanks ...

Thanks! I have the local schedule for VTV from another post, but would like to know bars that will be showing the Olympics or any place where I could watch CCTV5.
