Lovely staff, the best 'special' pho in the area. Relaxed atmospehere. Please donate music as they have a limited selection and love it when they get new tunes.

I recently rented a bike from VIP for the summer in Hanoi. The whole process is delightfully easy and the product (and service) is quality. I can ensure prospective customers that you will have peace of mind when dealing with Andrew and the guys at the workshop. Their integrity is of the highest degree much like their mechanical knowledge.
You will receive ongoing service through the preventitive maintenance of the bike. Their flexibility to suit your times is really convenient as well. It's also obvious that seeing street kids given a chance with Blue Dragon is sweet. Straight up though I can't think of a single reason to be put off by this organisation.
Recommend.

Over the last 6 months I have seen several questions on TNH that are sport related, especially on places where you can watch live sport in Hanoi. However, in this time places have both opened, closed and been restructured. I'm desperately keen to get a big and accurate list of places where we can all confidently rock up to and view some action.
So if anybody knows names of pubs, restaurants, private houses inc. streets, phone numbers, t.v networks it would be amazing.
The only 2 places I know of are
Jaspas (Hanoi Towers) Hai Ba Trung.
Jafas (Sepultra) Sth African TV Network
Australian Network provides the Hyundai A-league football from Australia. They also do the AFL and NRL over the Australian winter. Most of us can view this at home.
Star Sports and (another vietnamese channel?) offer most of the EPL and European football.
I also heard of an Indian Restaurant provides cricket coverage. More info would be great.
Please post information on all live sporting events, in particular Southern Hemisphere Football, Rugby, and Cricket.
Thanks all!! Go the Black Caps in Oz and AB's for the slam!

It's on the Australian Network LIVE through Channel 9. Most bars/hotels will play it, even some guesthouse rooms have it.
In response to the question: Hello, I am an Aussie that will be in Hanoi for the 2nd State of Origin match on the 11/06/08, does anyone know if this will be shown on TV in Vietnam...
