I really like this place, its got lots of vegetarian options and its good if you are on your own or two people and want a quiet place to sit. Nice food, good music (not too loud) and the people are lovely.

Hiya, I need to register a .org.vn domain name and when i searched English speaking websites selling .vn names they were like $100-200 a year. A vietnamese person tells me a local registrar will charge about $30 a year. Does anyone know of a reputable Vietnamese company for registering .vn names please? Thanks!

You can use diatomaceous earth in the house safely for cockroaches and ants as long as you don't inhale it :) I am sure someone sells this here, maybe a garden centre or aquarium shop, sometimes also they use it in cosmetics (its like a clay). people eat it as well for parasites, though it has to be food grade quality then. i want some, if anyone comes across it please post!

Here is the cockroach killer recipe which i am using and finding dead ones! Mix 75% baking soda, like Arm & Hammer and 25% powdered sugar, some say half and half. Put it in something they can crawl in and eat from. Apparently it sticks to them and if they lick it off it kills them. An alternative is boric acid or borax, which i would like to find here so if comes across it please post.

There is that big chemist with lots of western products, can't remember the name of the street but its over above the tomb of HCM (go past the tomb in the direction of the lake, turn right on the next street up, leads to truc bach). The Clinique shop by the lake has "city block" for the face. Expensive (like $30) but at least you know its decent.

Maroon is good, i've had very good luck with them actually. they have a good selection of fabrics and speak English but be very specific about your dimensions if you want something to fit exactly. their prices are not low but neither are they unfair either. you can trust them to do a good job.
