Ladies and Gentlemen. I was privileged enough to stumble across one of your fine parties on Sunday the 1st of June and was devastated to hear that it was possibly the last. I spent the next week running around trying to get in touch with people that are still interested in keeping the parties going. I have already received a fair amount of interest and if anyone in this group has already taken steps to keeping the parties alive, please let me know. I’d like to swap some ideas… over coffee… which I’ll buy. Actively working toward the next party DanTheSofaKing
This whole experience has led me to believe that if you have a vision, and you want to manifest it, all it takes is trust in faith, luck and a bit of sweat and investment of time and energy. Thank you to everyone who came out to participate, and for sure I will let you know if there will be some form of continuation after my departure.
It sure has been fun, and I can't think of a better way to meet people than sharing good vibes on the dance floor. Hope to see you out at our last event on Sunday, June 1st.
It's true no more freebies, so I'll just be having one more event last weekend in May. Not sure if it will Saturday or Sunday. So, please check the events calendar in the near future for details.

#HaNoi DANCEteria# ANY IDEAS ??? we dont have space anymore, coz CINEMAteque wants 1.000.000 d for a night!!! so may be someone lives in a house near west lake or anywh? with spacious room ? and doesnt mind having around 20 guests once in a while?(once a month?) we dont play too loud muzik, we dont stay up late we do dance, chat and drink a little!!! after all i can help to clean up the room!!!! plz feel free to contact us!!!! HOST(ess) WILL have our attention and appreciation!!!i mean love and help to host this event also host will have chance to share music , be a DJ, get free drinks and so on...

this is awesome i'm so bored of the hanoi music scene and being from the UK love my trance/physcadelic trance/hard house etc etc, when's the next meet up, am gagging for good music. bring it on!

so, last night i met with steve and simon, who are interested in djing. we talked about having rotating nights to introduce you all to various genres of electronic music. stay tuned! also, we hope to incorporate more and more fun creative aspects in the future. sunday night dance party will continue the last sunday of the month, but it will be mainly slow/ethereal/ambiant/downtempo type music with some live accoustic stuff thrown in the mix. same bat time, same bat channel.

Hey all, very pleased to hear this group is growing and I am hoping more so that there are a few of you keen to hear some South African PSYTRANCE, which I hope to be playing for some of you soon. I have been producing music for years and feel that this group would allow for a good introduction :-)

Ok, there has been several requests to make this a weekly event on Saturday nights. The SNDP, may better be a daytime thing that is more family friendly...soooo, calling all DJ's or wannabes with laptops to guest DJ your favorite dance tunes. Keep in mind we can only go until 11pm...but you can always find an afterparty somewhere else in Hanoi. This is a club type event. We have the lighting, we have the sound system, we have the ok from the managment to proceed. Help me spread the word. -Tiffany

just wanted to say that this is exactly what I've been looking for in Hanoi......after 3 months of being here, it's just a shame that more people don't come along for the ride. super friendly people, gorgeous venue, wicked music and it's not at all cliquey.(phew). highly recommend a visit.

hi luna i do know this cafe , as i once co-founded a muzik cafe right at that location called cool fox cafe way back in 2000. that place, then , was called artists'hotel . i can't wait to see that place again after such a long time. cheers
Hey there, if you go to the events calendar all the details are there for the event. If you know where the Cinematheque is, then you can find the Cinecafe adjacent. See you soon!

OMG, I had a friend point out that the last Sunday of the month is actually March 30th, so I changed the posting, as I had the event this Sunday...oops, hope you can make it :) Bring your iPod, and think of some favorite dance tunes to share with us!

This Sunday is the next SNDP. Now that the weather's warmed up, come out and celebrate by dancing! If you can't dance, come anyway, as that is the best way to learn :)
