Last Saturday saw the Rest of the World team go down to the French in a close fought match. The game was played in good spirit - if by good spirit you mean that the Cheese-eating surrender monkeys complained at the referee for every second of the match which resulted in a few somewhat suspect interpretations of the tackle law by yours truly. All was forgiven after the game as we descended on JAFA for a few ales to soothe the aching muscles which had not seen such activity for some time.
Next stop is the tour to Laos in January. If you want to play some rugby in Hanoi, then get in touch.

Dear All,
On the Weekend of January 19 the club will be touring to Vientiane, Laos, to play a tournament against the local expat side, as well as some Thai University sides.
We are looking for playing and non-playing tourists to join us for the weekend for the unique experience of playing rugby in Asia. We will be playing a women's touch fixture as well so everyone is welcome.
Club members who pay their fees (1 Million VND) will receive a tour subsidy of at least this much, as well as being eligible for discounts at our upcoming club functions and social events.
