Changing Phase examines the cultural-political tapestry of contemporary Malaysia and the common ground that bonds it to her neighbor.

It investigate Malaysian artists’s relationship with the art form that emerged from the post colonial legacy of 1960s and 1970s and the manner in which they stepped out of their comfort zones and reclaim an identity that bridges time and tradition.

And as we continue to be informed of the emerging dynamics of contemporary directions within Malaysian artist. All art works are from the Petronas Art Collection
