Description:

The 6th annual Minsk Olympics weekend festival takes place once again at Thac Da resort in Ba Vi District (60km west of Hanoi) from Friday 30th May through to Sunday 1st June 2008.

The Minsk Olympics itself consists of 2 events:
(1) The Piston Trophy - a slow-as-you-can trail around a rampant obstacle course. Prizes for leading male and female rider as well as the Fat Sam Stunt Award.
(2) The Komrade Struggle - the most bizarre pairs event on a motorbike you might ever see.

ACCOMMODATION:
Stilt houses hold between 10-15 people and can be booked out in entirety by a group. Please contact us if you have a confirmed group.
Private A/C rooms (twin/double) are also available but at a rate of VND450,000/room/night extra. Contact us if you'd like to reserve a room. Limited availability.

All welcome to the event via any means of transport. it's possible to organise your own private car/minibus out to Thac Da which is 60km (1.5 hours) west of Hanoi. To compete in the Olympics you need to be aboard a Minsk but the whole event is open to all who enjoy a sound party.
