Description: The Hanoi-based Minsk Club Vietnam will celebrate its 10th anniversary with a one-day outdoor music festival to be held at the capital city’s American Club on Hai Ba Trung Street on April 5. There will be a spectacular line up of bands and djs from across the globe as well as local expat acts and home grown talent performing on the main stage throughout the day. The Minsk Club will be flying in Both Cheese, a funky indie-rock band from Tokyo, Japan, Pig Out, an electronica dance trio from Auckland, New Zealand, Peabody, an alternative rock act from Sydney Australia, a rocking singer-songwriter James Harries from the UK as well as the experimental pop duo from Bangkok, Stylish Nonsense, who Hanoians will remember from the CAMA party last summer. There will also be local expat and Vietnamese rock bands storming the stage as well as a roving H’mong music group bringing a touch of northern Vietnam to proceedings. DJs from the UK, Australia and Japan will also be flying in and the CAMA Sound-System will be playing suitably cool tunes all day long in the chill out tent where guests can kick back with cocktails. The Ho Chi Minh City-based Jetlag posse with their main amigo DJ Jase will also be providing quality visuals and tunes. All day long there will be a festival atmosphere with entertainment for kids and stalls serving Japanese, Indian and western grub provided by Ren, Tandoor and Al Fresco’s restaurants respectively as well as authentic Vietnamese street food.
