Clean Up the World partners with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) to inspire and assist communities to "clean up, fix up and conserve their local environment" through carrying out initiatives ranging from waste removal and tree planting to water and energy conservation projects.
Buffalo Tours is participating in this Clean Up event, by offering travellers the chance to go on an overnight trip to Halong Bay and collect rubbish using sea kayaks. Cost is US$97 per person based on return transfers, accommodation on board good standard junk (air con, ensuite etc), food, kayaks, entrance fees and Buffalo Tours guide.
