On Friday, 21st November 2008 a fund raising event, titled “Charity Gentle Night” will be hosted by Gentle Fund Organization at Kiti Restaurant, 38 Hang Hom Street. All proceeds from this event will go to provide medical services for disadvantaged children (orphans, disabled, homeless, etc) at Bo De pagoda and Haiphong Orphanage.
Based in Singapore, Gentle Fund Organization is a non-profit society consisting of young, enthusiastic volunteers, who are currently living in Vietnam and Singapore. One of the key objectives for GFO is to help orphans and poor, desperate children in Vietnam have a better living condition. Presently, the organization has successfully launched many effective projects and activities to raise funds, such as “Be A Guardian”, “Gentle Drive” – charity music album, “GFO Summer Camp”…
Thanks to great support from Kiti Restaurant, “Charity Gentle Night” will be organized in the form of a warm, sincere party between GFO members and foreign guests; those who are working and living in Vietnam. Besides attractive offers, such as delicious food (including pizzas, sandwiches, salads and fried meat rolls prepared by Kiti), drink (free flow of beer) and charity gifts for each comer, the event aims at providing all benefactors with information about past and current activities run by GFO. We are enthusiastically looking for all kind-hearted people who are willing to give even a little help, for a brighter future of all Vietnamese disadvantaged children.
There are also many interesting activities at “Charity Gentle Night” on Friday night. Fresh live music performances (violin and guitar), quick portrait drawing plus other fun things will make it into a memorable charity night to all of you!!!
