Am visiting Hanoi for business and chanced upon this site while doing research on places around Hanoi to go for good photo opportunities - portrait and scenery. I was really looking forward to watching "Indochine-A peoples War" on Discovery last Sunday night and had my fingers crossed it wouldn't be pulled by the censors. Do you think it is essential to study Vietnamese when you will stay here for over one year or just learn it for fun? I know some of people coming here and learn vietnamese for their works and others study it because of loving this country. How do you think? I know that learning Vietnamese seems much harder than english or any other languages. What is the most difficult when you do it?
