I am new to Vietnam and would like to know where I can meet single ladies in Hanoi and HCMC.I have heard about Beer Bars and have had a few Vietnamese guys take me to some dark places but I would like to meet girls that can speak english and have a few laughs.I have found that I can learn allot about culture by speaking and having a few laughs with the local girls.

As my experience,international English center language is always the best places for you. Most of them are excellent people and have good knowledge in Vietnam section.

Try getting involved in things at the universities (English conversational classes, etc). There's heaps of single, clever young women there. Or if you know any Vietnamese people through your work or whatever, ask them to introduce you to their friends.
