Laptop computers. Is there a reputable store that sells them in Hanoi if you aren't a registered business? Does anyone have any recommendations?

Sorry no answer just a suplimentary question. Does anyone know whether it worth buying a new laptop in Vietnam as opposed to back home (the UK) in my case. Any difference in price, quality, reliability etc.

I just bought a new Dell Inspiron 6400 here for roughly $1300 US, which is definitely more than it would go for in North America (can't say about the UK, though...). But seeing as it would cost just as much for me to hop a plane to a city where I could buy one cheaper than here, I can't complain.
I got it at a place called "The 220", at 38A Ly Nam De Street. Fixed prices (great -- I hate bargaining), the guy there spoke English... no problems!
They have the full range of Dells, Sonys, Toshibas, and I think Acers, too.

No particular recommendations on shops here, but it's definitely cheaper to buy electronics in North America, particularly if you go the Ebay route.
