Cleverlearn on Kim Ma and Van Bao has a very decent gym for 30 dollars a month, also its on the 8th floor of the school so if you don't get enough exercise in the gym you certainly will walking up to it

I think there was an earlier post on affordable gyms which you can refer. As for martial arts lessons, I know Sheraton Gym offers this class on weekday evenings. You may want to check it out.

I used to learn Kung Fu with an awesome vietnamese teacher called Quang who speaks good english and has classes for both viets and foreigners. His studio is on Ba Trieu in Hai Ba Trung district. His phone number is 0904115388

I highly recommend him, classes of 2-3 people were US$5 per hour.
