Anyone know somewhere to buy good quality essential oil and oil burner in Hanoi? I have seen them in L'Occitane, but not really a good range of oils. (in particular I am after ylang ylang, patchouli and sandal wood)

Basically good quality EOs of the variety you have mentioned are not available in Ha Noi. Plenty of local oils available, I purchase Star Anise and Clove Basil in Ha Noi and these are good quality and destined for export. For others, I import from Oz in commercial quantities (last order was 14 kgs) for my handmade natural soap production.

Thanks Mike... Are your handmade soaps available in Hanoi?

I saw a new shop in Vincom Towers, Siam Spa which from a quick browse seemed to have soaps and all the things the ladies might like. (Opposite BIDV)

Our handmade natural soaps are not quite available in Ha Noi yet. We can produce them here OK, however am now in the process of preparing a dossier for the "Announcement of Quality Standards" which must be accepted by the appropriate authority before we can sell in Viet Nam. Don't worry, once they are available will let everyone know.... we need to start to recoup some of our investment!!!
