I have also been looking for slippers like that but so far have only got thick padded socks like totes from blueangel on tran quoc toan. they are horrific designs but keep my feet warmer than socks as have rubbery non slip soles.

Dear Elliewelliesj,

Not sure if they still have them but my mates and I got some good ones at the 'Russian Shop' in Hanoi Towers last year and they saved my life. I don't think you've got much chance on the Ugg front in this town though. Best of luck with it,

Candide

Not what you're asking, but I do pretty well with socks + plastic sandles on cold tile floors.

Better yet, has anyone seen those full-length pajamas that zip from your toes up to your neck in adult size? Specifically the Star Wars line? That would be nice.

I doubt you can find them here, Grant.

You definitely can find them here in most markets. (they are in the shoe section) Supermarkets such as Big C or Metro also have them. I went to Chợ Hôm and bought a very good pair with 35k vnd.

I went to Big C today - whilst that was a hellish experience in itself, I did find slippers. I bought some nice warm brightly coloured ones with strange faces on them that could be mice or monkeys or fraggles... Perhaps not the height of slipper fashion but definitely keeping my toes warm.
However if you have big feet, you wont stand a chance of getting any there to fit you.
And if you must go to Big C, dont go at the weekend - PURE HELL!!! (altho kinda funny too)

I know you've already bought some, and you didn't want the slip on kind, but.... I bought some of the slip on ones for myself and my nguoi yeu last weekend on Lo Su (just on the street). They've been fantastic -- so warm and amazing -- and made of chenille!

Thank you kparsons.... good to know, dunno how long my strange monkey ones will last... but chenille sounds lovely... and my nguoi yeu couldnt fit into the ones in Big C so will take a trip to Lo Su this week.
Thanks

In the huge appliance store on the second or third floor of Vincom Towers, we found large fuzzy slippers with a built-in vibrating massage feature.

I didn't buy them, as I'm waiting for next year's model which prepares steaming mugs of hot chocolate for you at the touch of a button.

I could start a whole new line on Big C on the weekend. Trolley etiquette is non existent and that music is enough to make hair grow on the back of your hands. Have you seen the line up for fresh baguettes? It is like a feeding frenzy.

This may be a bit off topic, but I have seen water bottles around town that you fill up with hot water...it could be pretty sweet....until the cat gets ahold of it anyway!
