Book Scanning - Hanoi Answers

Book Scanning

I want to scan some books onto discs and wondering if anyone can recommend a reliable, affordable place.

Thanks,

Steph

Can't give you the name of a particular shop...

...but I can tell you where you can get it done.

There are several shops near and around the Hanoi University of Technology (with that wonderful acronym of HUT) that specialise in that sort of thing.

Why buy a pirate photocopied edition of your text books, when you can buy a pirate CD of your textbooks?

Hi Guys
I got a couple of manuals scanned to disk in pdf format thru one of the guys who works for Andrew at VIP Bikes. It cost D500 a page and they did it page by page. I could not find anyone who could do auto direct to disk. Maybe I was asking the wrong questions. Contact Andrew to find the exact shop. If you find a better deal please let us all know as this is always in demand.

The Kodak shop on the eastern strip of Hang Bac does scans, a few meters to your right from the Western Union branch. Look for the yellow Kodak sign.

there's a shop next to North Star building - 6 Da Tuong (1 min walking from Melia)
