hey guys,
i want to send some christmas gifts to the US. i have read about the post office and costs, but i am wondering if i can wrap the gifts or not. if they have to take a look at the contents, can i wrap them at the post office afterwards? i always wrapped my gifts from Korea.
anyone know?

A grand post office opposite with Hoan Kiem Lake, better you bring gifts, wrap paper or box if necessary to there. You let them see what stuff you want to submit then they check a few time (just looking around hopefully nothing sexual...lol), so you can wrap afterward them say Kay. There has something tape glue etc support for ur gifts.
luck.

**Update**
The post office didn't have boxes or packing materials, and the girl at the counter was a far cry from helpful. I Asked if she needed to see what would go in the package, she said yes, then never even looked at it. I was in there over an hour. I filled out 5 forms with the same information. also, a guy kept asking me if I wanted to change money and I thought I was going to scream at him.
But, my package eventually left my hands. Now, I wonder if it will get there in one piece, with all it's contents. Or get there at all. I'll let you know!

Yes, the postal workers are not best known for their customer service. Packages, I've found, do arrive at their destinations sooner or later.
