Are there any running groups that cater to slow/beginner runners? I see Hash House Harriers and the like, but I'm thinking more of a 2-3 Km, 2-3 times a week.. Maybe some interval training etc.
Would anyone like a training partner maybe or form a small group?

Yes would love a training partner. I don't live near the centre, but I am willing to drive in.
I'm training for a 10km run, so my training is rather intense, but at the moment I'm still taking it fairly low key.

Sounds good. When is the 10k?

It's actually in Angkor Wat, Cambodia. Dec 6-7
The site is http://villagefocus.org/angkor_marathon/index.htm.
I think there's a marathon in Singapore that weekend also.

seem popular run :) myself and a friend are doing the 1/2 marathon there at the same time.
To the original poster - dont dismiss the HHH as although the runs are longer than 3km there are a variety of paces all the way down to walkers and it is a great chance to meet people

jtyo, I'm guessing you were asking me, but I'm not sure.
I run usualy around my area, because it's the easiest, but I don't have any nice parks to run around or lakes etc. The streets are difficult because of the condition of the footpaths. Therefore, I usually drive into the centre to go to a nice park or something, it's more motivating also.
I usally try and run at least 3 times a week, and aim for 4. Let me know if your interested in running together.
