I'm wondering how much of a headache it would be to start up a very small business importing natural skin care from the USA. Anyone know anything about the process? I need to provide either a Business Registration Certificate or Reseller's License (or the like) in order to order wholesale from the States. I'm completely in the dark about this process. I also know nothing about shipping clearance/ customs procedures etc. Anyone know where I can look to find out about this?

Firstly, to import the products you would require a business license. Secondly, the products would need to be registered with the Health Dept. as cosmetics and the necessary labeling attached in Vietnamese. The clearance and customs are best done through an agent (at a price).
Two options, firstly set all of this up yourself, but be prepared for a lot of paperwork and hassles, or secondly, work through a Vietnamese company that is already importing cosmetics.
Being in the business myself (we manufacture in Viet Nam) I would suggest you look at the volumes and margins, then decide if it is worthwhile. It is a crowded marketplace for imported products such as these.
