Any good recommendation to last me from Friday afternoon to Sunday noon time? No pagodas please as there's quite a few temples in Singapore. Also I'm looking to buy a Nikon zoom lens and hear that camera equipment is cheap in Vietnam? Any good trusted recommendations if so?
Hello! I'm planning on coming to Hanoi in July and I was wondering if anyone had advise on the best way to transfer money to the US from Vietnam. I've heard about many bank related issues on this form so I'd like to try to get my ducks in a row before I arrive if possible. Do I need to have an account with a bank like HSBC in usd? Does anyone get pain in dong and have a bank in usd, does that work out? Thanks in advance for any advice!

Do you think it is essential to study Vietnamese when you will stay here for over one year or just learn it for fun? I know some of people coming here and learn vietnamese for their works and others study it because of loving this country. How do you think?
