Bars and Restaurants run by expats
no photo available

Hi a question here: Could anyone adress any Hanoian restaurants and bars that are run by expats? Any Italian Pizza done by Italians? Any French croissants done by French? English pubs with Premier League? Irish Pubs with that silly music of theirs etc...

I scanned through the restaurant listings but it doesnt mention the expat driven ones. Any information is appreciated,

thanks.

A beer in a back alley of Hong Kong.

Wow. This is going to be a rather long list if you want businesses that are owned by expats or have a significant expat managerial influence. I don't mean to pry, but can you give us a bit of your motivation so we can narrow down the list for you?

Yeah, there's quite a few, but it doesn't always mean they are better run than Vietnamese places, although getting your point or view across to them is easier i guess.
Off top of my head, all Indian restaurants(Indian Chef) except Food Shop 45, but that does a damm good curry.

Finnegans, owner is Moonie but has expat bar staff. Daluva run by expats, same with Jafa at Ciputra.

Half the Italian joints in town, alfresco's chain/group run by Aussies.

I could go on, but if you, like Alpha says, give us your insight to why you'd like to know, i could be more specific.
