Rabies jab for my cat

Im off to Kl next week with my cat. He has not had a rabies shot becase the vet said it was not needed from the UK.We will however be moving from KL to Hanoi in September, i was wondering if anyone knows whether he will need a rabies jab to go from KL to Hanoi?

You can contact your airline to find out about customs and quarantine regulations. They should be able to point you in the right direction. I would advise that you get all his shots up to date though cos that may help you in the long run.

I doubt you will need one. My kittens here (Vietnamese kittens) did not get their rabies jabs because they are not outdoor cats -- they are indoor only. If you plan on letting your cat go outdoors, then you will probably want to get rabies jabs, but you can easily get that done here.
