Cat doctor and cat food

I am looking for a veterinarian who is good to my cats. Can you give me a recommendation?

As well I am looking for places selling cat food, especially Royal Canine cat food (the little ones love it!), and litter.

I have seen litter and food on the street, but I don't recall a specific street. I do know that L's Place on Xuan Dieu (as well as their other branches) do stock a variety of cat products but as I do not own a cat I have never paid attention to the brand.

Just wanted to add ... you can also find some products in the supermarket like FiviMart and CitiMart.

I would be interested in the answers to this also as i will be arriving in Hanoi with Harry the Siamese in September.
He is used to having 'Gourmet' cat food range! Im guessing he may have to adjust his expensive taste lol

I take my cat and dog to Pet Health on Au Co. I can't remember the exact number, but it's 200 and something. I've always been happy with the quality of care there and it's not too expensive.
Haven't seen that type of food though... The litter available here sucks pretty bad.

Hi Katiti,
We have been using Dr. Bau's vet services and have been happy with him. He comes to your house, so no need to take your cats anywhere for minor things like deworming, etc. His phone number is 0903-223217.

Cat litter (called Catsan, which is the only good one we have found here) you can get from Citimart in Hanoi Towers and Royal Canin cat food is available from "Vet Clinic". Just phone them and they'll deliver it to your house. Ph. 719 9994.

Absolutely agree with previous posters about CatSan litter -- it is actually the best I've found anywhere.

I bring my kittens to the French vet on To Ngoc Van. Not sure where you live but it's the most convenient for me and the care is very good. The address is 98 To Ngoc Van, near Sedona Suites. Phone: 04. 718. 2779 or mobile 0912 754 305 (good for emergencies).

They will also make house calls but it is more expensive. However, good to know that option is available when you have a super sick pet (as I did last summer).

They are part of a larger company called Asian Veterinary and Livestock services: http://www.asvelis.com. I have met both Mai and Patrice and they are lovely. And, they do sell the Royal Canine brand. :-)

Hi, I agree with CanadianA.
Patrice (the French vet from ASVELIS) on To Ngoc Van is a nice guy. They sell good quality pet foods, flea products, etc.
