Hello,
A group of us (7) will be in Hanoi for approximately a month to receive extra training in Trad Medicine. We were wondering if you could recommend a hotel near Lenin Park as the hospital is located on Nguyen Binh Khiem. An alternative we were thinking in terms of accomodation is renting a house or villa around the area. Do you think this is a good idea? Thanks for your input!

The Green Park Hotel is located right on the edge of the Park. While I've not stayed at the hotel, ( visited the bar/coffee shop twice), the venue is well regarded by many travelers seeking lodging near to the Park. Considering the number in your group ( 7 ) and the duration of your stay ( one month ), perhaps a suitable price can be negotiated with hotel management.

I had a family member stay at Green Park and she was very impressed. It's on the expensive side ($50/night), but it's spitting distance from the trad med hospital

Thank you so much for both your helps. I have considered Green Park Hotel but my group decided it was a little on the pricey side for us students. I'd really appreciate any more input anybody has. Thank you :D

I'm no expert on this city, but I think your only sensible option will be renting a house. I don't imagine that it would be too hard to find one (and it certainly won't be too expensive). If I think of a good way to go about searching for an appropriate property, I'll post again.

Check the boards at Western Canned Foods/the backery of Hoa Sua (now on Ha Hoi street I believe) and Moca Cafe. Check the English language schools - teachers usually have an idea of places to stay although a lot of landlords would prefer more than one month renters.

Hi, That's infortunate : I live in Nguyen Binh Khiem, and could have offered you my house.. but I leave the place only one month in July... What are your exact dates ?
