The 2 factories that seem to have export clothes are on Minh Khai street. Mostly shirts and pants and jackets. Go east from 226 Minh Khai and keep your eyes open for big shops.
If you have something to copy there is a seamstress on Hang Bai (49 ??) Named Tuyet. She does a lot of stuff for teachers and volunteers although she doesn't speak English. The big problem seems to be the quality of material. Don't cheap out. The garments will fray or sag. Take someone to the markets who knows the quality of materials.
