I like these activities. If you have any plan, inform me. I set up the plan to go to the peak of Fansipan but it's not a good time now, maybe I will go at the begining of August.

There are hundreds of excellent hiking trails throughout Vietnam. If you're not a gung ho environmental terrorist or a mad photographer who doesn't respect the local's privacy rights I'd be willing to show you,on a map,some of the places I've hiked in the past 6 years

I'm interested going for a nice day hike this weekend, possibly leaving early in the morning and get back around noon... I have a friend that is interested as well. Interested? Do you have any recommendations on hikes now that you've posted this??? It would be nice to get a group of about 5 people together.

I like hiking and biking. I am very interested in climbing Fransipan. Time is a big factor and I plan to do this before July 24th. Anybody want to join? I was thinking of one day up, one day down, one day around town kind of adventure. I am also interested in doing some hiking on Cat ba...again this will happen sometime before the 24th of July quite possibly the weekend of June 27th. Any takers?

Hi everybody, if you would consider another person for your hiking group I am seriously in!! I love mountains and longer treks, but getting out of the town for a weekend is great as well. All this is easy back in Europe, but here I havent met likeminded people so far. would be really cool if that could change:) Thanks for the initiative Andrew and let me know when something is happening Darina

How about starting up a "Hiking/Mountain Biking" group here on the site. That would be the easiest way to promote your events and get them on the event calendar. My guess is this is going to be a regular interest for many of you, and that's what the groups functionality is all about. Let me know if you have any questions.

there is some hiking to be done around the Tam Dao area... I rode up on my motorbike one weekend parked her on the side of the road and just took off on a random trail. I encountered a pink snake. Yikes! There were almost no views but it was a great three hour amble through the woods... well worth it in my opinion. So yeah I would be down to do some other hikes with other folks if anyone has some more ideas.... it is summer and i miss the outdoors desperatly even. LEts GO!
