Recording studio anywhere?

Does anyone know of a recording studio? I need to make some short voice recordings to send via email to Ho Chi Minh. I have no clue how to do that with my own computer (not that I have one yet) but have been told to look for a cheap recording studio... any ideas?

Hi,

I heard (but I'm not sure) that there is (will be ?) a recording studio at the Café l'Eté.

Cheers
Alexis

There's also the Sunflower Studio on the southeast side of Truc Bach Lake.

OOh fantastic news... do you know anymore than that? is it pricey? being very new to Hanoi, do you know the exact address? I will go websearch now but if anyone has any experience of using the studios I would be incredibly interested to hear more. Thanks

I know the Sunflower Studio is not too expensive -- maybe 400,000-700,000 depending on how many CD copies you want. I tried to look up their exact address (as they moved from one place on the lake to another) but I couldn't find any info. However, if you head down to Truc Bach Lake and just drive around the small perimeter, I bet you'll find it.

Good luck!

If you do get a computer, and want to do recording on a more regular basis you can download a free piece of software called Audacity (http://audacity.sourceforge.net/) and record it yourself using your computer and a microphone.
