I´m new to this city and already bored by my colleagues from work. Therefore I´m looking for some nice people to have some drinks after work or/and to explore the city and surroundings on weekends.

Ditto - I'm another newcomer (female), and the only people I know are my work colleagues. I'd be keen to meet up some time next week for a drink ...

Why not join the hash? There are a group of us there who regularly go out during the weekends and have a great time, and new people are always welcome to join in. You dont have to be a runner to have a good time and meet people (they do a walk as well)

guys! have a look at this event: http://newhanoian.xemzi.com/event/show/495/date/2008-04-05 it will be a great Saturday and a perfect place to meet cool people and not just boring, dull and arrogant colleagues. They are a good community of relax and cooool people here in Hanoi. Not just the real colonialist old school typical expat trying to re-invent themselves by making people believe are important when in fact they are just regular people back in their home country! So come and join the rest of us next saturday. cheers
