Well, you can always use the "search" option on this site - just type "Halal" in the "Search Hanoi" area. Or you can search in the restaurants section, I believe there's a "Halal" category.

But to answer your question, there's a restaurant called Tandoor that's Halal (they have the certificate in every table for you to see.) I'm sure there are more...

There's also a new Malaysian restaurant - Malaysia in Hanoi at 136 Tran Vu by Truc Bach lake.

The Malaysian restaurant is as close to Malaysian food as you can get in Hanoi. :)

The Malaysia In Hanoi Restaurant at 136 Tran Vu is Halal as it can be. Even alcoholic beverages are not served there. And unitedislife is right, the food there is authentic Malaysian.

But it is totaly devoid of any atmosphere - and much service the night I went.

I believe that I was just reading somewhere that Bobby chinns' is Halal, or Kosher, regardless most certainly cruelty free :)
